About Polish Arts Festival
The Polish Arts Festival (PAF) aims to promote Polish culture and art in Ireland, showcasing the diversity and richness of Polish traditions and contemporary artistic expressions. The event features artists and creators of Polish origin living in Ireland, Irish artists collaborating with the festival, and artistic groups/artists from Poland.
The festival takes place annually in September in Limerick and online. In 2025, the festival will be held from September 18-21.
PAF is supported by Arts Council of Ireland, Limerick City and County Council, Creative Ireland and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin.
Marketing/PR Coordinator Role
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
Develop comprehensive festival promotion strategy covering online and offline channels. Define target audience among Polish community, other minorities, and Irish audience, along with key festival messages.
Brand Management
Create and maintain positive, exciting festival image in media. Prepare promotional materials like flyers, posters, and social media content.
Media Relations
Establish and maintain contacts with local and national media representatives. Prepare and distribute press releases and organize press conferences.
Social Media & Website
Create content and manage festival profiles on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. Engage community and maintain interaction with participants. Update festival website according to marketing strategy.
Partnerships & Artists
Collaborate with local cultural institutions, sponsors and Polish community organizations. Coordinate promotional activities with partners. Work with festival artists and guests.
Analysis & Reporting
Monitor effectiveness of marketing and PR activities. Prepare reports after each campaign and after festival conclusion.
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing/PR, preferably in cultural sector
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
- Creativity, independence and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of social media tools, online marketing and WordPress basics
- Canva proficiency and basic graphic design skills
- Own transportation
- Knowledge of cultural-artistic environment in Limerick/Ireland (training offered)
- Availability for meetings in Limerick before festival and presence during festival
Contract Details:
Duration:
Part-time service contract for festival preparation period (June-September 2025) and festival duration, with possibility of continued collaboration after the event.
Legal Status:
Contract for services.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience (pro-rata). Details will be discussed during interview.
