Patrycja has been part of the Polish Arts Festival since 2025, where she coordinates the people who help bring the festival to life: its volunteers. Her experience of festivals and artistic projects has taken shape across Galway, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary. Over the years, she has helped create cultural events, brought Polish theatre companies to Irish audiences, and worked behind the scenes on concerts, performances and other artistic ventures, from their first ideas to their promotion and delivery.
Art has always been close to home. Raised in a musical family and musically trained herself, Patrycja developed an early affection for the stage. Opera and theatre remain closest to her heart, but her curiosity rarely stays within the boundaries of one art form. She is equally drawn to visual arts and to the unexpected ways in which people choose to express themselves. And while she is often found behind the scenes or in the audience, every now and then she crosses that invisible line herself, joining creative experiments and artistic adventures with local groups.
Beyond the festival, Patrycja coordinates the Polish Cultural Centre in Galway. She is an educator, entrepreneur and community activist, an advocate for migrant communities and women’s rights, and a graduate of the Executive MBA programme at the University of Galway. Much of her work has grown from a simple but enduring belief: people need spaces in which they can meet one another, exchange ideas and experiences, and feel that their voices are not merely invited into the room, but genuinely heard.
For her, culture, education and community life have never been separate worlds. They continually meet, overlap and reshape one another. She sees art as one of the few languages capable of travelling freely across boundaries of nationality, language and lived experience. At its best, it makes us curious about one another. It brings people closer. And sometimes, almost quietly, it creates a sense of belonging where there was none before.
This is also how Patrycja approaches her role at PAF. For her, volunteering is not simply about filling roles or helping an event run smoothly. It is about inviting people into the life of the festival itself. She wants every volunteer to feel that they are not standing on its margins, but helping shape its atmosphere, its energy and the story it leaves behind.

Z Polish Arts Festival związana od 2025 roku jako koordynatorka wolontariatu. Doświadczenie przy festiwalach i przedsięwzięciach artystycznych zdobywała w Galway, Cork, Limerick i Tipperary. Przez lata współtworzyła inicjatywy kulturalne, sprowadzała do Irlandii polskie teatry, angażowała się w organizację koncertów, spektakli i innych projektów artystycznych oraz ich promocję.
Wychowała się w muzycznej rodzinie i sama posiada wykształcenie muzyczne. Szczególne miejsce w jej sercu zajmują opera i teatr, ale z równą ciekawością przygląda się sztukom wizualnym i najróżniejszym formom artystycznej ekspresji. Nie zawsze pozostaje przy tym jedynie po stronie publiczności. Od czasu do czasu sama daje się porwać twórczym eksperymentom i działaniom lokalnych grup artystycznych.
Na co dzień koordynuje działalność Domu Polskiego w Galway. Jest edukatorką, przedsiębiorczynią i działaczką społeczną, aktywistką środowisk migranckich i orędowniczką praw kobiet, a także absolwentką Executive MBA Uniwersytetu w Galway. Od lat angażuje się w życie społeczności migranckich, tworząc przestrzenie spotkania, dialogu i integracji, w których różne głosy mają szansę nie tylko wybrzmieć, ale zostać naprawdę usłyszane.
Kultura, edukacja i działalność społeczna nie są dla niej odrębnymi światami. Przeciwnie, nieustannie się spotykają, przenikają i wzajemnie dopełniają. Wierzy, że sztuka ma niezwykłą zdolność przekraczania granic języka, pochodzenia i życiowych doświadczeń. Potrafi zbliżać ludzi, budzić ciekawość drugiego człowieka i tworzyć więzi tam, gdzie wcześniej istniały jedynie różnice.
W PAF jej rolą jest przede wszystkim praca z ludźmi. Zależy jej na tym, aby wolontariusze nie byli jedynie osobami pomagającymi przy festiwalu, lecz czuli, że współtworzą jego atmosferę, energię i historię.
